Terms and Conditions

1) This promotion is open to consumers aged 18 (eighteen) years and over, except persons connected with Novar ED&S Ltd, Honeywell Group or directly associated companies of the above or any of the prize draw sponsors, or the close families and friends of such connected individuals.
2) No purchase is necessary.
3) By entering into this promotion, you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions and you also agree to receive marketing materials, special offers, etc from Novar ED&S Ltd unless you have indicated otherwise at www.switchonmk.com. You acknowledge and agree that your personal data may be held on computer and used by Novar ED&S Ltd in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
4) If you are not a UK resident, by entering the draw you confirm and accept that you are not breaching any laws in your country of residence that may prevent you from entering such a draw. We will accept no liability should you enter into any draw unlawfully and if you are in any doubt at all, you should not enter the draw.
5) The promotion is open from 1st October 2007 and closes on 28th November 2007 at midnight. Only one entry may be submitted per person. Only one winner will be chosen.

How to enter

6) For a chance to win a trip to Dubai, including flights and accommodation for 5 nights (the prize does not include travel insurance or transfers) up to prize value of �3,000, courtesy of Novar ED&S Ltd, you must register for a switchonMK event, by 27th November 2007:
a. log on to www.switchonmk.com
b. enter your name, email address, business type and postcode
7) The draw for the prize will be made by an independent supervisor who will randomly select from the entries received on 30th November 2007. The winner will be notified by email on 7th December 2007. If the winner does not respond to the notification within seven (7) days, an alternate entrant will be chosen by the independent supervisor in their place. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate entrant will be selected. All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entertained.
8) The name, company name and country of the winner will be available after 7th December 2007 by sending an SAE to the address below.
9) A cash alternative will not be available.

The prize and winners responsibilities

10) The winner must have a valid passport for travel and complete all travel before 7th June 2008. If the winner fails to collect the prize within 2 weeks of notification of the award of the prize, or to comply with any of the other terms and conditions of this promotion, the prize will be forfeit and no refund will be made.
11) Acceptance of the prize will be deemed permission by the winner for Novar ED&S Ltd to take publicity photographs and interview the winners and for these to be used by Novar ED&S Ltd in its absolute discretion without limit in time, media, geographic area, quantity and method of distribution without further compensation to the winner over and beyond the award of the prize. This includes all photos and video pictures taken during the awarded trip for any commercial, promotional and publicity use in all forms of media, including the Internet.

Responsibility

12) Novar ED&S Ltd reserves the right to substitute, at it’s absolute discretion, a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable.
13) Novar ED&S Ltd is not legally responsible to the fullest extent allowable in the law in the event of problems, accidents, illness, terrorism, injury or harm sustained by the winner or any third parties who choose to travel with the winner as part of the awarded trip.
14) The activities carried out whilst on the trip are the sole responsibility of the winner.
15) The winner agrees to pay all applicable taxes in respect of the prize.
16) Novar ED&S Ltd makes no representation, statement or warranty as to the suitability or fitness for any particular purpose of the prize and (except for liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence) Novar ED&S Ltd will not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained to persons or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission by us, or our servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply and/or delivery, or the supply and/or delivery of any goods by any person to the winner.
16) The Promoter of this prize draw is Novar ED&S Ltd, whose registered office address is Honeywell House, Arlington Business Park, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1EB.
