2008 will see the biggest change to design and installation, inspection and testing for the UK electrical industry in 15 years. MK is committed to help all our customers understand the implications and necessary actions for compliance these changes bring.
Introduction of the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations was issued on 1st January 2008 and is intended to come into effect on 1st July 2008.
Installations designed after 1st July will be required to comply with BS 7671:2008.
The Regulations apply to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations, also alterations and additions to existing installations.
